আজ আইপিএলে (IPL 2026) হাইভোল্টেজ ম্যাচে মুখোমুখি হয়েছে মুম্বাই ইন্ডিয়ান্স (Mumbai Indians) ও চেন্নাই সুপার কিংস (Chennai Super Kings)। দুই দলই ২ পয়েন্ট সংগ্রহ করার লক্ষ্যে আজ মাঠে নেমেছে। ম্যাচে টসে টসে জিতে বোলিং করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেন হার্দিক পান্ডিয়া (Hardik Pandya)। তিনি এই সিদ্ধান্তকে আজ প্রথম ইনিংসে সফলতার সঙ্গে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করেন। চেন্নাই’এর আজ টপ অর্ডার একেবারেই বিপর্যয়ের মুখে পড়ে। তবে সঞ্জু স্যামসন (Sanju Samson) দুরন্ত ফর্মে ছিলেন। তিনি দ্রুত স্কোরবোর্ড এগিয়ে নিয়ে যান। তার ব্যাটিং’এ হাত ধরে বিশাল লক্ষ্যমাত্রা দিল চেন্নাই।

CSK’এর দুরন্ত লড়াই-
আজ চেন্নাই সুপার কিংসের হয়ে রুতুরাজ গায়কোয়াড (Ruturaj Gaikwad) এবং সঞ্জু স্যামসন ওপেনিং করতে আসেন। অধিনায়ক আজও ব্যাট হাতে সম্পূর্ণ ব্যর্থ হন। ১৪ বলে মাত্র ২২ রান করেন। ৩ টি চার এবং ১ টি ছয় আসে তার ব্যাট থেকে। তবে এরপর সরফরাজ খানও (Sarfaraz Khan) ৮ বলে ১৪ রান করে দলকে হতাশ করেন। শিবম দুবে (Shivam Dube) ফেরেন ৮ বলে ৫ রান করে। ডেওয়াল্ড ব্রেভিসও (Dewald Brevis) দলকে ভরসা দিতে সম্পূর্ণ ব্যর্থ হন।
এই তারকা ব্যাটসম্যান ১১ বলে ২১ রান করে আউট হয়ে গেলে দল চাপের মুখে পড়ে গিয়েছিল। এইরকম পরিস্থিতিতে একা দায়িত্ব কাঁধে তুলে স্কোরবোর্ড এগিয়ে নিয়ে যান সঞ্জু স্যামসন। তিনি আজ দলের হয়ে দুরন্ত ফর্মে ছিলেন। ৫৪ বলে অপরাজিত ১০১ রানের ইনিংস গড়েন। তার ব্যাট থেকে আসে ১০ চার এবং ৬ টি চার। ফলে আজ চেন্নাই ২০ ওভারে ৬ উইকেট হারিয়ে ২০৭ রান সংগ্রহ করেছেন। মুম্বাইয়ের হয়ে ২ টি করে উইকেট পেয়েছেন আল্লাহ গজনফার (Allah Ghazanfar) এবং অশ্বিনী কুমার (Ashwini Kumar)।
এরপরই সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় উঠে আসছে একাধিক মন্তব্য। “সঞ্জু স্যামসনকে নিয়ে অনেকের সন্দেহ ছিল। তিনি এই বছর আইপিএলের দুটি সেঞ্চুরি হাঁকিয়ে নিজেকে প্রমাণ করেছেন। আজ তার জন্যেই মান রক্ষা করেছে চেন্নাই।” বলে উল্লেখ করছেন নেটিজেনরা। “চেন্নাইয়ের ব্যাটিং অর্ডার একেবারেই ফালতু। একমাত্র সঞ্জু কার্যকরী ভূমিকা পালন কলছেন। এই পিচে চেন্নাইয়ের আরও ২০-৩০ রান বেশি করা উচিত ছিল।”, বলে জানাচ্ছেন সমর্থকরা।
