সাত নম্বরে ব্যাট করতে নেমে গতকাল দিনের শেষে অপরাজিত ছিলেন ধ্রুব জুড়েল। সঙ্গে ছিলেন কুলদীপ যাদব। উত্তরপ্রদেশের দুই ক্রিকেটার আজ সকালেও ইংল্যান্ডের বোলিং আক্রমণের সামনে ঢাল হয়ে দাঁড়ানোর প্রয়াস চালান বেশ কিছুক্ষণ। এরপর অ্যান্ডারসনের বলে ব্যক্তিগত ২০ রানের মাথায় কুলদীপ বোল্ড হন। তবে টলানো যায় নি তরুণ উইকেটরক্ষক-ব্যাটার ধ্রুব জুড়েলকে। অ্যান্ডারসন, রবিনসনের পেস হোক বা বশির, হার্টলিদের স্পিন, সাবলীল ভঙ্গিতেই গতকাল থেকে সামলে চলেছেন তিনি। রাজকোটে অভিষেক টেস্টে ৪৬ রান করে থামতে হয়েছিলো তাঁকে। রাঁচীতে সেই স্কোরকে ছাপিয়ে গেলেন তিনি। করলেন কেরিয়ারের প্রথম টেস্ট অর্ধশতক।

Shoaib Bashir should avoid bowling the quicker deliveries on the stump line to Dhruv Jurel.
He uses the front foot very well and will go for a straight batted shot every single time using the pace of the delivery.
