চলতি আইপিএলের (IPL 2022) দ্বিতীয় কোয়ালিফায়ার ম্যাচটি রয়্যাল চ্যালেঞ্জার্স ব্যাঙ্গালোর এবং রাজস্থান রয়্যালসের মধ্যে আহমেদাবাদের নরেন্দ্র মোদি স্টেডিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। আর এই হাইপ্রোফাইল ম্যাচে ৭ উইকেটে জিতে আইপিএল ফাইনালের টিকিট জোগাড় করে নিল রাজস্থান। এই ম্যাচে প্রথমে ব্যাট করতে আসা ব্যাঙ্গালোর নির্ধারিত ২০ ওভারে ৮ উইকেট হারিয়ে ১৫৭ রান করে। রান তাড়া করতে নেমে জস বাটলারের ১০৬ রানের মারকাটারি ইনিংসের ওপর ভর করে খুব সহজেই ১৮.১ ওভারে ম্যাচটা জিতে নেয় ২০০৮ সালের আইপিএল চ্যাম্পিয়নরা।
ব্যাঙ্গালোরের ব্যাট করার সময় এ দিন নজর কাড়েন রজত পতিদার। ৫৮ রানের ইনিংস খেলে বিরাট কোহলিদের সম্মাজনক একটি স্কোর করতে সাহায্য করেন তিনি। তবে রান তাড়া করতে নেমে সব আলো কেড়ে নিয়ে গেলেন জস বাটলার। ৬০ বলে ১০৬ রান করে যান এই ইংরেজ ব্যাটসম্যান। এই সঙ্গে দলকে উপহার দিলেন ফাইনালের টিকিট। তাই এ দিন ম্যাচের পর জসের বন্দনায় মেতে ওঠে টুইটার।
